Q
Do I need to be home during the clean?
No. Most Manhattan clients leave keys with the doorman, give us a lockbox code, or buzz us in and head to work. Tell us how you would like us to get in when you book, and we note it on your file so you never have to repeat it.
Q
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes, all the essentials come with us: sprays, solutions, paper towels and sponges. For hygiene reasons we do not move vacuums and mops between homes, because that is how bacteria and bedbugs travel between buildings. We ask that you provide your own vacuum, mop and toilet bowl brush. If you would rather not, we can bring a Swiffer mop with disposable wet pads instead — just tell us when you book.
Q
What does a house cleaning service in Manhattan cost?
You get a flat quote before anyone is booked, based on the size of the home, the number of bathrooms and how long it has been since the last clean. It does not change on the day. Recurring plans take 10 to 25 percent off that number for every visit, and new clients can stack code FIRST10 on the first booking. Full detail on our pricing page.
Q
How long does a cleaning take?
A studio or one bedroom on the standard checklist runs about two to three hours with one cleaner. Two bedrooms, three to four. A first deep clean usually adds two hours on top, and a move-out on an empty unit is normally a half day. We tell you the expected window when you book so you can plan around it.
Q
Who will be cleaning my apartment?
A screened, trained cleaner from our own team — we do not subcontract. We keep notes on your home, so whoever arrives already knows how you like it done and works the same written checklist. On recurring plans we keep the same person on your route wherever the schedule allows.
Q
What if something is missed?
Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and re-clean the area at no charge. No forms, no argument. It is the simplest promise we make and the one we are most careful about keeping.
Q
Can you do same day cleaning in Manhattan?
Often, yes. Call before roughly 11am and we can usually get someone to you the same afternoon, especially in Midtown, the Upper East Side and the Financial District. Weekends and the last few days of the month fill fastest, so book earlier if you can. See same day cleaning service.
Q
Do you clean Airbnb and short-term rentals?
Yes, and turnovers are their own workflow. Checkout at 11, check-in at 3, linens reset, amenities restocked, the unit staged back to your listing photos, and any damage photographed and sent to you before the next guest walks in. See Airbnb cleaning
and short-term rental cleaning.
Q
Which Manhattan neighborhoods do you cover?
All of Manhattan below 96th Street daily, and Harlem and Morningside Heights on most days. That includes the Upper East and West Sides, Chelsea, Midtown, Flatiron, Greenwich Village, the East and West Village, SoHo, Tribeca, the Lower East Side, Chinatown and the Financial District. We also cover Brooklyn
and Queens.
Q
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
Card on file, charged after the visit. No deposit is taken to hold a slot, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your appointment. Recurring plans have no contract, so you can pause or stop them whenever you want.
