Cleaning products, sprays and cloths all come with us. For hygiene reasons we do not carry vacuums and mops between homes, so we ask that yours are available on the day. If you want fragrance-free or pet-safe products, say so when you book and that is what we bring, at no extra charge. David K. asked for the oven specifically. Questions about the guarantee
No dropdowns. Every answer is already open, because a promise you have to click twice to read is not much of a promise.
If you are not happy with an area we cleaned, tell us within 24 hours of the visit and we come back and re-clean that area at no charge. That is the whole thing. It applies to every service we offer, on every booking, including the very first one.
Text or call (212) 812-9418, or email support@greenhandscleaningservices.com, and say which room or which surface. One sentence is plenty. We schedule the return, usually within a day or two, and there is nothing to sign.
No. Photos help us brief the cleaner if the issue is something specific like a mark on a floor, but they are never required and nobody will refuse a claim because you did not take one. There is no form, no case number and no supervisor inspection.
Because after a day of ordinary living, nobody can honestly tell what was missed and what has happened since. A short, clear window is what lets us say yes without asking questions. If you were travelling and only walked in on day three, call us anyway and we will sort it out.
A re-clean. We would rather fix the apartment than hand back money and leave you with the same bathroom. If we come back and you are still not happy after that, we will talk about the money, and that conversation has happened maybe a handful of times since 2015.
There is no limit and no counter. Realistically, if you are claiming every visit then something is wrong with the assignment rather than the clean, and we would swap the cleaner or revisit the scope instead of just coming back again.
No, and that is deliberate. The moment a re-clean costs the cleaner something, cleaners start hiding mistakes and the standard slides. We treat it as information about the checklist or the notes on your home, not as a black mark on a person.
Yes. We quote by home size and scope before anyone is booked, and that number does not move because the job ran long. No travel fee, no fifth-floor walk-up surcharge, no supply charge at the end. The only thing that changes a price is you changing the scope.

The cleaner tells you the same day rather than hoping you do not notice, and we handle it through our insurance. Most breakages involve something already sitting loose on an edge, so if a shelf holds something irreplaceable, say so and we dust around it instead.

That every mark comes out. Grout that has gone porous, heat rings on wood, limescale that has been building for a decade, and pet stains that soaked into the carpet pad will all improve and some will not fully clear. We say that at the quote, not afterwards.
We also will not move heavy furniture, go out on window ledges above the ground floor, or handle biohazard or post-pest-infestation clean-up. Those are licensed jobs and we will tell you who to call.
