Astoria apartments come in two flavors and they get dirty in totally different ways. We clean both, and we do not use the same order of work on both.
This is the clean for the stuff that piles up in between. Dishes in the sink, three loads of laundry, a bed nobody has changed in a while. Its the same checklist with the household chores added on top.
The checklist and nothing more, priced by home size. A studio or a one bedroom in Astoria usually runs two to three hours with one cleaner. Two bedrooms with two baths, closer to four.
Astoria still has a lot of two-family houses and small townhouses, especially up around Astoria Heights and 21st Avenue. Stairs collect more dust than any surface in a house, so treads, risers and the banister get done every visit.

Cleaning products, sprays and cloths all come with us. For hygiene reasons we do not carry vacuums and mops between homes, so we ask that yours are available on the day. If you want fragrance-free or pet-safe products, say so when you book and that is what we bring, at no extra charge. One rule we never break, and you shouldn't either: never mix bleach with ammonia or with an acidic cleaner. The CDC's cleaning guidance puts it in plain language, and in a windowless Astoria bathroom that mix is genuinely dangerous.

No. Most Astoria clients leave entry instructions or a key and go about their day. A lot of the walk-ups here have a buzzer that only sometimes works, so tell us that when you book and we will call instead.
Yes for products: sprays, solutions, paper towels and sponges all come with us. For hygiene reasons we do not carry vacuums and mops between homes, since that can move bacteria or even bedbugs from one apartment to another. We ask that your vacuum, mop and toilet brush are available. If you do not have a mop, we can bring a Swiffer with disposable wet pads instead, just give us a heads-up.
Yes, and we do it constantly. That is most of Astoria. Tell us the floor and whether there is an elevator when you book, purely so we send the right sized kit and allow the travel time. There is no stairs surcharge.
