Cleaning products, sprays and cloths all come with us. For hygiene reasons we do not carry vacuums and mops between homes, so we ask that yours are available on the day. If you want fragrance-free or pet-safe products, say so when you book and that is what we bring, at no extra charge.

In a pre-war building in Astoria or Sunnyside, plaster walls shed a chalky dust that settles on picture frames and sill tops. In a newer LIC tower the problem is the opposite: sealed windows, HVAC vents holding dust, and floor-to-ceiling glass that shows every mark. We clean both, and we do not use the same approach on both.

The standard checklist, then the rest: inside the oven, inside the fridge, grout scrubbed by hand, baseboards and door frames wiped, light fixtures and vents, window sills and tracks, blinds, behind and under furniture we can safely move.
Most apartments here need one every six months. If you cook a lot, have a radiator under a window, or you are in a ground-floor unit facing the street, make it every four. Book it before guests arrive rather than after, and before you list an apartment for sale, not the week of the open house.

Questions
Every one of the fifteen was written by a client we invoiced. We ask for a review by email after the visit, we do not offer a discount in exchange for one, and we do not delete the unflattering ones. What we do edit is length, because a few of them arrived as three paragraphs and the cards on this page hold about four lines. If you want a second opinion that we have no control over, our record is also public at the Better Business Bureau.
Because these are the fifteen we have written permission to publish with a first name and a neighborhood attached. The rest sit on Google, Yelp and Facebook where you can read them without taking our word for anything. We would rather show you fifteen you can place on a map than four hundred you cannot. New Yorkers checking out any home service should also know that the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection keeps licensing and complaint records you can search for free.
It is normal, its not guaranteed. Michael R. called at 6:40pm and had a team at eight the next morning, which happens most weeks somewhere in our schedule. Whether we can do it for you depends entirely on what is already booked in your borough that day. Call and ask rather than assuming.
Wherever the schedule allows yes. Several reviews on this page are from clients on weekly or bi-weekly plans and the consistency they mention is mostly down to that. When we do have to send someone new we send them with your file, so they already know the apartment and work the same written checklist.
Yes, and please tell us at booking rather then at the door. We can run fragrance-free and plant-based products, bring extra microfibre for pet dander, and do a nursery or a post-surgery kitchen first while the space is empty. Henry D. and Karen B. both asked for exactly this.

A standard visit and a deep clean are priced differently, and both are listed flat by apartment size on our pricing page. The number you see at booking is the number you pay, so nobody on this page recieved a surprise invoice afterwards. Recurring plans take 25 percent off weekly, 15 percent bi-weekly and 10 percent monthly.
